How does the property matching work?
We combine advanced AI algorithms with human verification. Our system scans thousands of listings, and our local agents filter them based on your specific needs, ensuring you only see properties that truly fit your criteria.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Your monthly subscription is automatically cancelled once you have signed a lease. Yes, you can cancel your monthly subscription at any time via your account dashboard. There are no long-term binding contracts for the monthly access fee.
What is the "One Time Referral Fee"?
This is a success-based fee charged only when you successfully sign a lease for a property we found for you. It incentivizes us to focus on quality matches rather than just quantity.
Do you really verify every owner?
Yes. Before a property makes it to your shortlist, our team verifies the ownership and availability. This drastically reduces the risk of rental scams and ensures you're dealing with legitimate landlords and that the place is still available for rent.
What if I don't like any of the matches?
We refine our search based on your feedback. If the initial batch isn't right, you can adjust your preferences, and our agents will manually scout for off-market opportunities that better align with your vision.
Is the Concierge tier worth it?
If you are busy, relocating from another city, or looking for high-demand properties, the Concierge tier pays for itself by saving you hours of viewing time and leg work. We may potentially save you money in negotiated rent reductions where applicable.
How much does Rent Club charge for services?
We charge a recurring monthly membership fee based on your service level (see above). Clients can cancel anytime but membership automatically cancels once a lease has been entered into. In addition, a ONE TIME (non-recurring) referral fee is due after your lease signing. Depending on your service level this could be 1% or 3% of the annual lease value.
Can you provide an example of referral fees based on rents?
Say, you enter into a year lease (12 months) @ $3000/mo. That would result in a lease value of 12 X $3000 = $36,000 annually. A 1% fee based on that value is $360 (plus GST) payable to RENT CLUB as a one time fee once you have selected and been approved for a property sourced for you.
How do I cancel my Membership?
Simply log into your profile page and "delete" account. One and done.
Am I guaranteed to find a home with Rent Club?
Nothing in this world is guaranteed except death and taxes and now tariffs - oh, and our best efforts. While we track down the best offers and matches for you, results may vary depending on the season, new housing regulations, availability and special requirements etc.
